Fortec Motorsport’s Linus Granfors claimed his second GB4 victory of the season after a scintillating opening contest of the weekend on the Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit.

The second Competition of the Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship - OK & Junior was hit by rain during the last two timed sessions. Pole positions were secured on a dry track during the first sessions by Iacopo Martinese (ITA) in Junior and David Cosma Cristofor (ROU) in OK. The two timed series of the first FIA Karting Academy Trophy Competition took place in the rain, with Dan Allemann (CHE) the fastest.

The 2024 Ginetta Junior champion will receive a £50,000 scholarship towards a seat in the 2025 GB4 Championship, it was confirmed today (Friday 26 April). The second event of the 2024 California ProKart Challenge was contested on the April 20-21 weekend with the series returning to the Buttonwillow Raceway Park. Running the Buttonwillow, California circuit in the reverse direction from the opening round event in March, the Superkarts! Chris Dittmann Racing has confirmed that Martinius Stenshorne will race for the team at the Silverstone GB3 rounds on 27/28 April. 

Brad Jenner has equalled the all-time round winner’s list in the SP Tools Australian Kart Championship presented by Castrol by taking out the X30 class on Sunday at Seymour’s Eastern Lions Kart Club; while Joshua Fife extended his KZ2 Championship lead through a dominant round win. Jenner secured his 12th total round victory, joining Troy Loeskow at the top of the all-time list.

The highest German kart series DKM is this weekend in the modern Arena E in Mülsen. This is the first race of the six events that ADAC e.V. has on the calendar. A lot of action is expected from the competitors from the different classes.
